The Boy Better Know member Skepta has caused controversy over claims his latest single “ Dare to Dream “ has been hijacked by interscope boss Jimmy Iovine so that Eminem can us the track for himself.
This was posted today on his twitter account and could lead to him signing to the aftermath or interscope record label in the near future.
The original version of the song was widely available on you tube but with news of Eminem hijacking the track it has been pulled off by Universal records. This could be the start for something big for the English rap scene and the leaders of Grime.
Although this might seem like a kick in the teeth for Skepta he must see it as a blessing in disguise. This finally shows that Grime can make it big in the American markets and finally Skepta will join the big guns in the music industry.
This will be the second major signing that Skepta has attracted from America the first being the single with P Diddy and Dirty Money.
